BOMBSHELL: Piers Morgan Gave Anchorman Phone Hacking Lessons

Piers Morgan, the pompous British host of CNN’s ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’, once gave phone hacking lessons to BBC anchorman Jeremy Paxman.

Paxman, who testified under oath at a government inquiry looking into the phone hacking scandal that has rocked the Rupert Murdock media empire to its core, said:

“He [Piers Morgan] turned to me and said ‘Have you got a mobile phone?”

“I said yes and he asked if there was a security setting on the message bit of it. I didn’t know what he was talking about.

“He then explained the way to get access to people’s messages was to go to the factory default setting and press either 0000 or 1234 and that if you didn’t put on your own code, his words, ‘You’re a fool’.”

Morgan, a Murdock protege and former Daily Mirror editor, has somehow managed to avoid culpability in the British phone hacking scandal. The scandal has resulted in charges against Rebekah Brooks, the former editor of Rupert Murdock’s News of the World, as well as six others.

Piers Morgan, was inexplicably hired by the floundering CNN to replace Larry King who retired after 25 years at the network. ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’, has suffered from dismal ratings. Morgan’s 9PM weekday talkshow numbers are the worst for CNN since 1997 — a 15 year low
