Wisconsin Teachers, Go Home
by Robin Tolbert
This angers me.
Three days of striking because their insurance costs will increase by 8%? Are you kidding?
My insurance has gone up 27% in the last two years and everyone I've talked to is in the same boat. Salaries are frozen, unless you're a government or state worker. Then it's belly up to the bar, ladies and gentlemen. Plenty for all.
If those teachers aren't willing to work with a 8% insurance increase, fire them and hire some people who want a paycheck. People who've been looking for non-existent jobs in a closed market. People who understand this kind of entitlement mentality from those who teach children will be passed to those same children and cause more of the same.
The money is gone. The Fed doesn't have any, the States don't have any, the people don't have any. You know who has it? China. The country buying up our IOU's as fast as we can print them.
Unreasonable union demands are part of the reason we're in our current economic boat. Once upon a time, if you were unhappy with your job, you could find another one. Since all the money in the economy is being taxed by the Fed to pay off union bosses for stacking union votes to get those pay-offs, there are no jobs to be found. One of the penalties of replacing the free market with socialism. Spread the poverty. Plenty for everyone.
Teachers of Wisconsin, we are not Egypt. This is unacceptable. Put on your big girl panties and deal with an insurance increase like the rest of us, by tightening your belts and voting in those who would return us to a free market with competition instead of monopoly. I have no sympathy for you.
I have no idea who this guy is (my bad, no doubt) but on this subject, in this clip, I agree completely.
Levin to Unions: You're picking a fight with the American people at the wrong time.
Keep the faith.
